Britanya Bağımsız Film Ödülleri (BIFA) 2025 adayları açıklandı

My Father’s Shadow

Bu yıl 20 Kasım’da teknik, 30 Kasım’da ise ana dallardaki seçimlerini yapacak BIFA (Britanya Bağımsız Film Ödülleri), 2025 adaylarını duyurdu. Birleşik Krallık’ın aynı zamanda uluslararası film dalında yarışmak üzere Oscar’a yolladığı My Father’s Shadow, 12 adaylıkla listenin zirvesinde. Onu 10 adaylıkla Harry Lighton’ın Pillion filmi takip ederken, I Swear (Kirk Jones) 9, Die My Love (Lynne Ramsay) ise sekiz adaylık aldı. Bunların dışında adayı açıklanmadan direkt kazananı duyurulan bir dal da var. Alex Garland’ın Navy SEAL güzellemesi Warfare‘in D’Pharoah Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Joseph Quinn ve Charles Melton’dan oluşan kadrosu En İyi Toplu Performans ödülüyle buluşacak. Bir de son olarak uluslararası film dalına dikkat çekmezsem olmaz. It Was Just an Accident, Sentimental Value ve Sirāt aday olmayı başarsa da kısa listede adını gördüğümüz The Secret Agent ve The Voice of Hind Rajab‘ın dışarıda kalması şaşırttı.
