98. Akademi Ödülleri için uluslararası film, animasyon ve belgesel dallarında değerlendirmeye alınacak filmler duyuruldu. Hemme’nin Öldüğü Günlerden Biri

Oscar’ın dünya sinemasına açılan kapısı uluslararası film dalında bu yıl 86 ülke yarışacak. ABD dışında üretilmiş ve diyaloglarının en az %50’si İngilizce olmayan uzun metraj yapımlar ön eleme turundan sonra, 16 Aralık’ta duyurulacak listeyle 15’e düşecek. Bu sene zaten biliyorsunuz, Türkiye’yi Murat Fıratoğlu imzalı Hemme’nin Öldüğü Günlerden Biri temsil ediyor.

Animasyon yarışında ise 35 yapım mevcut. Yalnız bu konuda kapıyı açık bırakmış Akademi. Eğer zorunlu gösterim koşullarını yerine getirmeyen bir yapım olursa yarış dışında kalacak. Animasyon dalında branşın bütün üyeleri oy kullanabiliyor, ancak artık diğer Akademi üyelerine de başvuruları izleme şartını tamamlaması halinde oylamaya dahil olma hakkı tanındı.

Bu yıl rekor sayıya ulaşan belgesel dalında ise 201 yapım yarışıyor. Bazı filmlerin zorunlu gösterim koşulları hâlâ tamamlanmadığı için süreç içindeki durumu takip edilecek. Uluslararası Film kategorisinde ülkeleri tarafından başvuru yapılan ya da Oscar için nitelikli festival ödülü kazanan belgeseller de bu dalda yarışabiliyor biliyorsunuz ki. Tıpkı uluslararası film dalı gibi 15 filmlik kısa listeyle 16 Aralık’ta burada da bir daralma yaşanacak.
